Senator Christopher “Bong” Go has once again emerged as the leading senatorial candidate, securing the solo top spot in the latest May 2025 Pahayag Senatus 2 preference survey conducted by independent research firm Publicus Asia Inc., with a commanding 42% rating.

Reacting to the results, Go expressed his deep gratitude to the Filipino people for their continuing trust and support.

Go emphasized that despite his strong survey performance, his focus remains on delivering tangible services, especially for sectors most in need. He reaffirmed his legislative priorities which include health care reform, access to basic services, job creation, and food security.

Go also encouraged Filipinos to pray for clean and peaceful elections this May 12, while urging support for his allies in the DuterTEN senatorial slate—who were endorsed by former President Rodrigo Duterte.

The May 1 Senatus 2 survey by Publicus Asia had a base of 3,000 respondents nationwide. This follows Go’s strong performance in previous Publicus polls, including the Pahayag 2025 First Quarter national survey conducted from March 15 to 20.

In that earlier survey, he placed first in both the aided awareness category (45%) and the unaided awareness category (17%), signaling high organic support and name recall across demographics.

Aside from Publicus Asia, other major survey firms continue to show Senator Go leading the senatorial race by wide margins.

In the Pulse Asia survey conducted from March 23 to 29, 2025, Go posted a 61.9% preference rating—up from 58.1% in February and 50.4% in January. The steady climb demonstrates a growing consolidation of support across regions and socioeconomic classes.

Meanwhile, the Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey commissioned by Stratbase and held from April 11 to 15, 2025, also ranked Go at the top with 45%—a notable jump from his December 2024 rating of 32%. SWS data shows a month-on-month increase in his popularity: 37% in January, 38% in February, and 42% in March, indicating a consistently upward trajectory in voter preference. ###
