Senator Christopher “Bong” Go has secured the solo first spot in the April 2025 Stratbase-SWS senatorial survey and maintained a strong lead in OCTA Research’s latest results. This further reinforces his climb while reflecting growing public support for the Duter-TEN slate of Duterte-aligned candidates gaining traction in the lead-up to the 2025 elections.
Based on the SWS survey conducted from April 11 to 15, Go received the backing of 45% of respondents—up from 42% in March and 38% in February. In OCTA’s April Tugon ng Masa survey, he again topped the list with 64.2%, climbing steadily from 58% in January.
This upward trajectory affirms Go’s position as the most favored candidate in both major surveys. It also highlights the effectiveness of his health-focused legislative agenda and sustained presence in local communities as Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Health.
Go who is known as Mr. Malasakit for his compassionate service to Filipinos in need.
Across both surveys, other members of the Duter-TEN are similarly rising, showing a pattern of growing support since late 2024. Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa increased from 21% in December to 32% in April 2025 in SWS, and from 36% to 40.4% over the same period in OCTA, solidifying his spot within the Magic 12.
Phillip “Ipe” Salvador, another Duter-TEN stalwart, jumped from 10% in December to 18% in April in SWS and reached 24.4% in OCTA—consistently rising each month. His rank improved in SWS, while holding the 12th–20th range in OCTA.
Similarly, Atty. Jimmy Bondoc rose from just 3% in January to 9% in April in SWS, while OCTA marked his growth from 4% to 13.2%—enough to place him within striking distance this April.
Atty. Raul Lambino also made steady progress. He moved from 1% in December to 8% in April in SWS. In OCTA, he rose from 1% in January to 10.0% in April. Atty. Jayvee Hinlo increased from 1% in January to 6% in April in SWS, and from 1% to 8.3% in OCTA—showing meaningful month-on-month growth.
Independent candidate Congressman Rodante Marcoleta improved from 6% in December to 13% in April in SWS. OCTA showed a corresponding rise from 11% in January to 19.3% in April, placing him also within striking distance.
Pastor Apollo Quiboloy held his gains over time: 2% in December to 6% in April in SWS; 5% in January to 8.2% in April in OCTA. Atty. Vic Rodriguez advanced from 3% in December to 7% in April in SWS, and from 4% to 12.5% in OCTA. Doc Richard Mata has maintained a gradual increase, from 2% in January to 3% in April in SWS, and from 2% to 4.2% in OCTA.
“At sa nalalabing dalawang linggo bago ang halalan, patuloy ko ring hinihikayat ang ating mga mamamayan na suportahan ang aking mga kasamahan sa Duter-TEN senatorial slate upang masigurong maipagpatuloy natin ang mga magagandang pagbabagong nasimulan ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte,” Go said.
“Ang kapanalunan ng DuterTEN candidates ay kapanalunan ng Pilipino,” he added.
